I’m a professional videographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a diverse background in video production, ranging from narrative storytelling and music videos to live event coverage and multi-camera broadcasting.
During my senior year of high school, I served as President of our video production club, where I established new partnerships with the Brentwood Press and the Chamber of Commerce. My C-SPAN StudentCam documentary received recognition from C-SPAN and local elected officials, and I was honored with the ROP Student of Excellence Award for Advanced Video Production.
Currently, I work as a Media Production Assistant for the City of Tracy’s Channel 26. In this role, I bring creativity to life by capturing city-run events and producing promotional content. I also implemented a more efficient post-production workflow, significantly reducing turnaround time for editing and backups.
One of my proudest achievements has been the complete redevelopment of our mobile broadcasting setup. I led the procurement of new equipment and designed a compact, feature-rich flypack system that can now be operated by a single person, cutting labor costs while improving overall quality
I approach every project with a blend of advanced technical knowledge and creative storytelling. Whether working behind the camera or in post-production, I’m driven by a passion to create impactful visuals that connect with audiences and deliver results.
If you’re interested in learning more about me and my journey into media production, feel free to continue reading.
From a young age, I developed a deep passion for video creation. At just nine years old, I launched my first YouTube channel, producing a wide range of content, from gaming and vlogs to tutorials. While my early videos were far from polished, they ignited a creative spark that has driven me ever since. That initial curiosity evolved into a lasting dedication to media production, a path I continue to follow with purpose and excitement today
It was in high school that I truly fell in love with film. Early on, I discovered the video production club and knew I had to be part of it. The club quickly became a second home, and by my second year, I was honored to serve as a club officer. During that time, I developed hands-on experience with a wide range of cameras and lighting equipment, building both technical skills and creative confidence.
My senior year was especially transformative in my journey as a video creator. As President of the Video Production Club, I helped establish connections with the local newspaper and the Chamber of Commerce. Alongside my team, I led the broadcast of our town’s holiday parade for The Brentwood Press and produced an anniversary celebration video for the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce
By the end of the year, I was nominated by my teacher for the ROP Student of the Year Award in Advanced Video Production. I went on to win the countywide competition and received a scholarship from the Contra Costa Regional Occupation Program in recognition of my work and dedication.
As my final project for ROP Advanced Video Production, I teamed up with a few classmates to create our first short film. The experience was unlike anything I had done before, it transformed us from classmates into a close-knit group of friends who still keep in touch to this day.
I served as both the Gaffer and Editor on the project, roles that allowed my technical skills to shine. Over the course of five months, we met nearly every weekend, dedicating long hours to shooting and refining our film. Through this process, we not only produced a piece we were all proud of, but also learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, and perseverance, especially during the tougher moments.
In the end, our hard work paid off. The film swept the Heritage High School Video Showcase, winning awards for Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Directing, and Best Short Film.
